What we’re about
This group is for Japanese and foreign actors of all levels, who are interested in improving their acting skills in English.
At the English Language Film School Japan, we offer a variety of different acting workshops, short-term and ongoing, starting this December!
If you want to dive deeper into scene work, character development, preparation, auditioning or even the legal side of being an international performer (e.g. visas, contracts,...) or just want a space to uncover your full potential as a performer - this group is for you!

What We’ll Do
Mix and mingle with other Tokyo-based creatives at Retronym Livehouse in Shimo-Kitazawa.Bring your skills and ideas and get ready to meet other filmmakers, film lovers, and creators. Chat about cinema, culture, or anything you like. Find collaborators for your next project, make new friends, and have a good time.
At 8pm we will have our ‘Soap Box’ moment, when you can address the room to tell them about yourself and your projects.

Admission: ¥2,000 on the door (drink included)
Location: Retronym Livehouse & Art StudioThe event runs from 7pm to 11pm, but the venue remains open and you are welcome to remain after this time.
