Tell Your Story — Cuenta Tu Historia
We all have stories worth telling. This month's meetup is about learning to tell yours — clearly, confidently, and in English.
We'll kick off with a quick mini-lesson on the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) — a simple storytelling framework used everywhere from job interviews to dinner conversations. Then you'll write your story, practice telling it in pairs, give and receive feedback, and share it with the group.
By the end of the night you'll have told your story two or three times — and each time it'll be better.
We will finish with social time to talk and ask more about our stories.
What to expect:
- A mini-lesson on STAR and giving feedback in English
- A short writing exercise to shape your story
- 2–3 rounds of paired conversation practice
- Full group storytelling + social time to close
No preparation needed. Come as you are. All levels welcome — from beginner to advanced.
