What we’re about
Are you in an ESL program and need extra help? Do you want to improve your English and don't know where to start? Are you interested in helping others learn this crazy language? This group is for you! Whether you need help with your ESL homework or you just want a chance to practice your English, this group offers something for everyone, regardless of your English proficiency! Led by an experienced ESL teacher and linguist, you'll get expert help from English speakers who want to see you succeed.
Our meetups include:
• A short English lesson about an interesting topic. Exercises will be given for beginner to advanced learners.
• A structured activity to help you practice speaking.
• Unstructured time for getting homework help, asking questions, or just chatting with the group.
This group is for you if you:
• Are taking an ESL class and need extra help.
• Don't have the time or the money for an ESL class but still want to learn.
• Are a native English speaker interested in helping others learn our weird and versatile language!
Native speakers / ESL teachers are welcome! A key aspect of ESL education is exposure to native speakers, so the more helpers we can get, the better.
This group is NOT affiliated with a tutoring service or English school; We will NOT try to sell you anything and this group will ALWAYS be FREE!
