Wednesday English–Portuguese Online (zoom) Conversation

Hello everyone, Olá a todos!
This is our weekly informal online conversation meeting, where we chat in only English for 1/2 the time, and only Portuguese 1/2 the time. Please do not sign up for an online event if you aren't able to fluently converse (A2 level or higher) in both languages. All participants must have cameras on when entering the meeting.
The idea is to have native Portuguese and native English speakers in breakout rooms with those native in the other language so we can all hear how the language should be spoken and to speak it ourselves.
You can join in for as much of the session as you wish.
We aim for a fluid conversation, so beginners may find the Portuguese or English conversation difficult to follow. Please don’t be put off, but keep studying and come back when you are able to follow the conversation.

Este evento informal e gratuito é o nosso encontro semanal e alternaremos entre conversar em português e inglês sem misturar os idiomas. A ideia é ter falantes nativos de português e de inglês em breakout rooms com os falantes nativos da outra língua, para que todos possamos ouvir como a língua deve ser falada e para falar.
Todos os participantes devem ter as câmaras ligadas quando entram na reunião.
Pode participar para o tempo que desejar. O nosso objetivo é uma conversa fluida. Os iniciantes podem então achar difícil seguir a conversa em português ou inglês. Não se sinta desencorajado/a, mas continue a estudar e regresse ao contacto quando se sentir capaz de seguir a conversa. Obtemos respostas às nossas perguntas relacionadas com estes idiomas através dos respectivos nativos. Encontra-mo-nos na quarta-feira!
