English Speakers Aspiring to Live Off-Grid

This is the first event being held in this group. Despite what the sidebar says, it will actually be 40 minutes rather than an hour (a requirement of Zoom's Basic plan). The group’s creator is not an expert in off-grid living, and attendees do not need to be experts either. The purpose of the event is simply for people with this common interest to introduce themselves. In the event, every attendee is expected to share how much they know about living a self-sufficient lifestyle.

After the initial introduction, each person will be given the option to share the progress they’re making toward the goal mentioned in the group’s title. If you choose to share this, remember to indicate at the end whether you are open to recommendations from other attendees on the subject.

Attendees do not need to turn on video, and the meeting will not be recorded unless everyone consents to this — but anyone who posts or otherwise expresses vulgar content (e.g. racist epithets) will be removed immediately.
