Hey guys! Hope your week is going well. I’m honestly so ready to just press pause this coming Sunday and carve out a little breathing room with you all.
If you're craving a quiet corner somewhere in the city to ditch the usual small talk, nurse a warm drink, and actually talk about things that mean something, pull up a chair. Let's make this Sunday a genuinely grounding, cozy place to connect. 🤍

### Who this is for (and who it's really not)

I set this up specifically for locals, expats, and folks living long-term right here in Paris who speak English and genuinely want a real community. You'll fit right in if:

✨ You tend to be a bit of a deep thinker, an introvert, or just someone who loves chewing on philosophy, psychology, and what life is actually about.

✨ You'd rather swap honest stories about life's messy highs and lows than trade corporate humble-brags or try to impress people with a resume.

✨ You're looking to build an actual, close-knit circle of friends instead of just collecting random contacts.

Who this isn't for:
❌ Anyone pro-war. We are entirely about peace, empathy, and looking out for each other, so pro-war stances or mindsets just won't work here.

❌ People looking to use this as a dating scene or a business networking thing.

### 🛋️ How we keep things running smoothly

Since we want actual conversations instead of a shouting match, we keep logistics pretty tight:

🪑 Super small groups: We keep each table capped at around 5 or 6 people max. That way everyone actually gets a chance to talk without getting drowned out, and it stays nice and calm.

📩 The quick check-in: Because spots are so limited, I’ll drop you a quick message a few hours before we meet just to confirm you're still good to make it.

🚫 Don't ghost the waitlist: If something comes up and you can't make it anymore, please just flip your RSVP status early so someone else can grab the seat. No-shows make it tough on everyone else waiting to join.

### 🌿 What it actually feels like when we meet

We want these meetups to feel completely natural and zero-pressure. Here's a quick rundown of how it flows:

🎴 A little help if we get stuck: If the conversation needs a spark, we've got some thoughtful question cards or fun themes we can pull from. Always feel free to bring a topic or a question you've been turning over in your head lately, too!

🧥 Keep it modest: Out of respect for the quiet, cozy little spots we meet in and everyone sitting at the table, please wear a modest outfit (for both men and women). Keeping things understated helps us all stay grounded and focused on each other rather than outward stuff.

### 🤍 Our ground rules for keeping it a safe space

To make sure everyone feels secure and respected at the table, we just ask everyone to keep these few things in mind:

🎭 Leave the mask outside: Seriously, just come as you are—with your messy thoughts, your current struggles, or whatever's on your mind. You don't have to pretend to have it all together here.

👂 Listen to actually get it: Try asking open questions and listening to understand where someone's coming from, rather than just waiting for your turn to talk or judge.

⏱️ Share the mic: Just be mindful of how much airtime you're taking up so everybody gets a fair, balanced chance to speak.

🛡️ Protect the vibe: We're super protective of the safe, welcoming energy we've built here. Anyone who brings a harsh vibe, acts disruptive, or just doesn't fit the caring spirit of the group won't be invited back.
