Let’s enjoy a unique cherry blossom experience at one of Tokyo’s hidden gems! ✨

Komatsugawa Senbonzakura features around 1,000 cherry blossom trees stretching along the Arakawa River—creating a breathtaking tunnel of sakura. It’s a lesser-known spot, offering a more local and authentic hanami experience away from the crowds.

We’ll start at a cozy café ☕
Relax, enjoy English conversation and international meetup, and naturally connect with other participants in a friendly atmosphere. Perfect for solo attendees!

Then, we’ll take the Toei Shinjuku Line from Ogawamachi Station to Higashi-Ojima Station 🚃

After arriving, we’ll explore Ojima Komatsugawa Park—a spacious park with wide open lawns and scenic riverside views, ideal for relaxing and taking photos 📸

Next, we’ll walk along the Arakawa riverbank and experience the stunning sakura tunnel of Komatsugawa Senbonzakura 🌸

Finally, we’ll enjoy a hanami picnic on the grass 🌙
Feel the pleasant spring breeze while enjoying food and drinks, and connect with both Japanese locals and people from around the world.

📍 ENGLISH ONLY CAFE (12:10–1:20 PM)
You can join various international exchange meetups held at the cafe.

📍 Komatsugawa Senbonzakura (2:00 PM)
A beautiful cherry blossom avenue with about 1,000 sakura trees along the Arakawa River. In spring, it forms a stunning tunnel of cherry blossoms, making it one of Tokyo’s hidden gems.

📍Cherry Blossom Picnic (2:00–3:00 PM)
We will have a picnic-style meetup, sitting on picnic sheets.
This is a free-time session with no language restrictions and no seat rotations, so feel free to relax and enjoy conversations with other participants.
Please bring your own snacks and drinks.
We will also stop by a convenience store along the way, so you can purchase items there if needed.

From here, you are free to leave or continue enjoying the cherry blossoms at your own pace.
The nearest station is Higashi-Ojima Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line.

- This event is not a guided tour.
- Last order for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, an 800 JPY participation fee will be charged.
- Joining the event after departure is not possible.
- Registration is not available after arriving at the café on the day of the event.
- This meetup will conclude at the destination.
- If there are fewer than three participants on the day or in case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. However, you are still welcome to visit the café and enjoy our various meetups.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer.

荒川沿いに約1,000本の桜が続く「小松川千本桜」は、まるで桜のトンネル。観光地とはひと味違う、“知る人ぞ知る”絶景スポットです。

まずはカフェでスタート☕
英会話や国際交流を楽しみながら、リラックスした雰囲気で自然に打ち解けましょう。初参加でも安心して楽しめます！

その後、都営新宿線で小川町駅から東大島駅へ移動🚃

到着後は、大島小松川公園をゆったり散策。広大な芝生と川沿いの開放感あふれる景色は、写真スポットとしても抜群です📸

さらに、荒川土手に広がる「小松川千本桜」へ。
続く桜並木はまさに圧巻。春だけの特別な景色を一緒に歩きましょう🌸

そして最後は、芝生の上でお花見ピクニック🌙
春の心地よい空気の中で、食べ物やドリンクを楽しみながら、世界中の参加者と交流できます。

シートを敷いて、ピクニック形式の交流会を行います。言語自由・席替え自由のフリータイムなので、参加者同士で気軽に交流をお楽しみください。
お菓子やドリンクはご持参ください。途中でコンビニにも立ち寄りますので、その場で購入することも可能です。

ここからは自由行動です。そのまま花見を続けていただいても構いません。
最寄り駅は、都営新宿線「東大島駅」です。

- ドリンクのご注文がない場合は、参加費として800円を頂戴いたします。
- 出発後の途中参加はできません。
- 当日、カフェ到着後のお申し込みはできません。
- 目的地にて現地解散となります。
- 当日の参加者が3名未満の場合や荒天時は中止となりますが、その際はカフェにて各種交流会をお楽しみいただけますので、ぜひカフェまでお越しください。
