First, we'll meet at the café!
Enjoy English conversation and an international meetup in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It's a welcoming space where you can naturally connect with others, even if it's your first time joining or you're coming on your own. 😊

After that, we'll head to Fukagawa and visit temples and shrines associated with the Fukagawa Seven Lucky Gods, a popular group of spiritual sites believed to bring good fortune. As we explore these historic places, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the beliefs, traditions, and cultural heritage that have been cherished in Japan for generations. ⛩️✨

We will also stop by sites connected to Matsuo Basho, one of Japan’s most celebrated haiku poets, and learn about his legacy while strolling through the charming streets of Fukagawa.

As we stroll through the charming old-town streets of Fukagawa, you'll learn about the unique blessings associated with each deity while experiencing the area's rich history and culture. This popular route offers a chance to discover a side of Tokyo that many tourists never see.

Fukagawa is home to many historic sites connected to Matsuo Basho, Japan’s most famous haiku poet. He lived in this area and began his legendary journey described in "The Narrow Road to the Deep North" (Oku no Hosomichi) from here. Visiting these sites provides insight into Japanese literature and Edo-period culture.

- Last order for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, an additional 500 JPY will be charged on top of the participation fee.
- Joining the event after departure is not possible.
- Registration is not available after arriving at the café on the day of the event.
- This meetup will conclude at the destination.
- If there are fewer than three participants on the day or in case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. However, you are still welcome to visit the café and enjoy our various meetups.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer.

まずはカフェに集合！

その後、深川へ移動し、開運スポットとして親しまれている「深川七福神」ゆかりの寺社を巡ります。歴史ある寺社を訪ねながら、日本人が大切にしてきた信仰や伝統文化に触れてみましょう。

途中では、日本を代表する俳人・松尾芭蕉ゆかりの史跡も訪問。江戸の風情を感じながら、文学の世界に思いを馳せましょう。

さらに、大ヒットゲーム・映画『8番出口』のモデルとして知られる地下通路にも立ち寄ります。作品の世界観を体感できる人気スポットです。
