Join us for a special night walk to visit Mitama Matsuri, one of Tokyo's most famous summer festivals, held at Yasukuni Shrine.

We'll begin at a café, where you can relax, enjoy English conversation, and meet people from around the world in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're joining for the first time or coming alone, it's easy to connect with others and make new friends.

After our social gathering, we'll take a leisurely walk through the Jimbocho and Kitanomaru Park area on our way to Yasukuni Shrine. Enjoy the historic streets, cultural atmosphere, and lush greenery while exploring Tokyo at night.

Once we arrive at Yasukuni Shrine, we'll experience Mitama Matsuri, one of Tokyo's most iconic summer festivals. More than 30,000 lanterns illuminate the shrine grounds, creating a breathtaking and magical atmosphere.

Relax in a cozy café atmosphere while enjoying English conversation and international exchange. Before departure, participants will have a chance to introduce themselves, so even first-time attendees can quickly feel comfortable!

Located in the Kudanshita area of Tokyo, Yasukuni Shrine is a historic shrine founded in 1869. Despite being in the heart of the city, it features spacious grounds surrounded by lush greenery and attracts many worshippers and visitors throughout the year.

📍 Mitama Matsuri (7:45 pm)
Mitama Matsuri is one of Tokyo's most famous summer festivals, held every July at Yasukuni Shrine. Originally established to honor the spirits of the war dead and ancestors, the festival transforms the shrine grounds into a breathtaking display of light.

More than 30,000 lanterns illuminate the shrine, creating a magical and unforgettable atmosphere. During the festival, visitors can enjoy traditional performances, cultural events, and the lively spirit of a Japanese summer festival.

As the festival is expected to be very crowded, participants will be free to explore on their own after arriving at the venue. Enjoy the festival at your own pace, and feel free to head home whenever it suits your schedule.

- This event is not a guided tour.
- Last order for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, an additional 500 JPY will be charged on top of the participation fee.
- Joining the event after departure is not possible.
- Registration is not available after arriving at the café on the day of the event.
- This meetup will conclude at the destination.
- If there are fewer than three participants on the day or in case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. However, you are still welcome to visit the café and enjoy our various meetups.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer.

毎年夏に開催される靖国神社の 「みたままつり」 を訪れる、特別なナイトウォークイベントです。

まずはカフェに集合し、英会話や国際交流を楽しみながらリラックスした時間を過ごしましょう。和やかな雰囲気の中で自然に会話が生まれるので、初参加やお一人参加の方でも安心してご参加いただけます。

交流を楽しんだ後は、神保町や北の丸公園周辺を散策しながら靖国神社へ向かいます。歴史や文化を感じられる街並みや緑豊かな景色を楽しみながら、東京の夜をゆったりと歩きましょう。

目的地の靖国神社では、東京を代表する夏祭りのひとつ「みたままつり」を見学します。境内には3万を超える提灯が灯され、幻想的な光景が広がります。
