Join us for a special summer evening and experience one of Tokyo's most exciting seasonal festivals!

We'll visit a lively festival in Ueno, where you can enjoy delicious street food, traditional Bon Odori dancing, and a relaxing night picnic with people from around the world.

First, we'll meet at a café.
Enjoy English conversation and international exchange in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're joining for the first time or coming alone, it's easy to meet new people and make friends. 😊

After that, we'll head to Furusato Tokyo Festival – Beer & Bon Odori in Yukata, held in Ueno Park.

At the festival, you can join the traditional Bon Odori dance, sample regional specialties, craft beers, and classic Japanese festival food while soaking up the lively summer atmosphere. Even if you've never tried Bon Odori before, everyone is welcome to join!

As we enjoy the festival, we'll also have a night picnic in Ueno Park. Relax in the pleasant evening breeze, enjoy food and drinks, and spend a memorable summer night chatting with people from all over the world.

🌙 Route

📍 ENGLISH ONLY CAFE (4:50–6:15 PM)
Relax in a cozy café atmosphere while enjoying English conversation and international exchange. Before departure, participants will have a chance to introduce themselves, so even first-time attendees can quickly feel comfortable!

Travel by Tokyo Metro from Shin-Ochanomizu Station to Yushima Station (180 JPY).

📍 Furusato Tokyo Festival – Beer & Bon Odori in Yukata
This is a popular summer festival where you can enjoy traditional Bon Odori dancing along with delicious food and drinks. A large yagura (festival tower) is set up in the center of the venue, and everyone is welcome to join the dancing alongside people dressed in colorful yukata.
You'll also find a wide variety of craft beers from across Japan, regional specialties, and classic festival street food, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. In the evening, lanterns illuminate the venue, offering a beautiful glimpse of a traditional Japanese summer and making it a favorite event for both locals and international visitors.

The festival and Bon Odori will be held until 9:00 PM.

🌙 Important Notes
- This event is not a guided tour.
- Last order for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, an additional 500 JPY will be charged on top of the participation fee.
- Joining the event after departure is not possible.
- Registration is not available after arriving at the café on the day of the event.
- This meetup will conclude at the destination.
- If there are fewer than three participants on the day or in case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. However, you are still welcome to visit the café and enjoy our various meetups.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer.

東京の初夏に上野で待つ祭りを訪れ、屋台フードや盆踊りを楽しみながらナイトピクニックを楽しみませんか。

まずはカフェに集合！
英会話や国際交流を楽しみながら、リラックスした雰囲気で自然に交流できます。初参加・お一人参加でもすぐに打ち解けられる、安心の空間です😊

その後は上野恩賜公園で開催される、「ふるさと東京応援祭 - ビールと浴衣de盆踊り」へ向かいます。

会場では、日本の夏の風物詩「盆踊り」に参加したり、ご当地グルメやクラフトビール、屋台グルメを楽しんだりと、お祭りならではの雰囲気を満喫できます。初めて盆踊りを体験する方でも気軽に参加できるので安心です。

お祭りを楽しみながら、上野恩賜公園でナイトピクニック！心地よい夜風を感じながら、ゆったりとした時間を過ごしましょう。食べ物やドリンクを片手に、世界中の参加者との会話を楽しめる、東京の夏ならではの特別なひとときです。
