We'll visit Yanaka Ginza, a popular area that retains the traditional atmosphere of Tokyo's old downtown neighborhoods, and enjoy the summer tradition of the Yanaka Ginza Hyakkoi Festival together!

The event starts at our café. First, we'll enjoy English conversation and international exchange in a relaxed atmosphere while getting to know each other. First-time participants and those joining alone are more than welcome!

After enjoying some time at the café, we'll take the Tokyo Metro to Yanaka Ginza.

At Yanaka Ginza, you can stroll through the traditional shopping street, enjoy local street food, and experience its charming retro atmosphere. The famous sunset viewpoint, Yuyake Dandan, is also one of the highlights of the area.

Then, it's time for the Yanaka Ginza Hyakkoi Festival! 🏮🎐
Under the lanterns lighting up the shopping street, enjoy the festive atmosphere of a Japanese summer festival, along with Bon Odori dancing, special nighttime food, and refreshing cold drinks.

Never tried Bon Odori before? No problem! Everyone is welcome to join in, dance together, and experience traditional Japanese summer festival culture—both Japanese and international participants alike! 👘✨

Due to the expected crowds, participants may be free to explore the festival on their own after arriving at the venue.

Yanaka Ginza is a popular shopping street that retains the traditional atmosphere of Tokyo's old downtown neighborhoods. Along the approximately 170-meter-long street, you'll find traditional local shops, delicatessens, Japanese sweets shops, and more. Enjoy strolling around and trying delicious local foods. The retro atmosphere leading from the famous sunset viewpoint, "Yuyake Dandan," is another highlight.

On Saturday, August 1, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the "Hyakkoi Festival" reaches its exciting climax! As the sun sets, lanterns light up and the retro shopping street transforms into a lively Bon Odori dance venue.

Of course, you can join in the dancing, but don't miss the special "Night Gourmet" offerings available only during the evening! Enjoy refreshing summer treats, cold drinks, and delicious street food. Under the glow of the lanterns, come experience a special summer evening filled with cool treats and festive energy!

- This meetup is not a guided tour.
- Last order for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, an additional 500 JPY will be charged on top of the participation fee.
- Joining the event after departure is not possible.
- Registration is not available after arriving at the café on the day of the event.
- This meetup will conclude at the destination.
- If there are fewer than three participants on the day or in case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. However, you are still welcome to visit the café and enjoy our various meetups.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer.

東京の下町情緒が残る人気スポット「谷中銀座」を訪れ、夏の風物詩「谷中ぎんざ ひゃっこい祭り」をみんなで楽しみます！

イベントはカフェからスタート。まずはカフェで英会話や国際交流を楽しみながら、参加者同士で交流しましょう。初参加の方や一人で参加される方も大歓迎です！

カフェで交流を楽しんだ後は、東京メトロで谷中銀座へ向かいます。

谷中銀座は、昔ながらの商店街を散策しながら、食べ歩きや街のレトロな雰囲気を楽しむことができます。夕日の名所としても知られる「夕やけだんだん」も見どころのひとつです。

そして、「谷中ぎんざ ひゃっこい祭り」へ！🏮🎐
商店街を彩る提灯の下で、夏祭りならではの雰囲気を楽しみながら、盆踊りや夜限定のグルメ、冷たいドリンクなどを満喫できます。

踊って楽しむのはもちろん、この夜だけの特別営業「夜グルメ」も見逃せません！ひんやり美味しい夜限定の特別メニューや冷たいドリンク、食べ歩きフードが勢ぞろい。提灯の明かりの下、夏の涼と熱気あふれる夜を一緒にお楽しみください！
