Ueno Natsu Matsuri is a popular annual summer festival that brings Ueno to life with delicious festival food, lively events, and the unique atmosphere of a traditional Japanese summer festival. 🏮🎆🍧

First, we'll meet at the café! ☕️
Enjoy English conversation and international meetups in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It's a welcoming space where first-time participants and solo attendees can easily connect with others and make new friends. 😊

This time, we'll explore the festival area together and experience the atmosphere of a Japanese summer. Enjoy colorful food stalls and delicious festival treats, take photos as we walk around, and spend a fun time together! 🍧🍉✨

After enjoying the festival, we'll have a summer night picnic at Ueno Park! 🌙🧺
Feel the cool evening breeze and relax as we enjoy a laid-back evening together. With food and drinks in hand, you'll have the chance to chat with participants from around the world and experience a special summer evening unique to Tokyo.

This event is perfect for anyone who wants to experience a traditional Japanese summer festival, make new friends in Tokyo, or enjoy an international meetup.

📍 ENGLISH ONLY CAFE (4:50–6:10 PM)
Relax in a cozy café atmosphere while enjoying English conversation and international exchange. Before departure, participants will have a chance to introduce themselves, so even first-time attendees can quickly feel comfortable!

Travel by Tokyo Metro from Shin-Ochanomizu Station to Yushima Station (180 JPY).

📍Ueno Natsu Matsuri
Held around Shinobazu Pond in Ueno Park, this is one of Tokyo's iconic summer traditions.
One of the main highlights is the "Rinrin Corridor," where around 4,000 wind chimes decorate the Hasumi Deck at Shinobazu Pond. The beautiful combination of the gentle sounds of wind chimes and traditional Japanese umbrellas creates a magical atmosphere and makes it a popular photo spot for experiencing the beauty of a Japanese summer. 🎐☂️✨
At the "Ueno no Ennichi" festival area along Shinobazu Pond, you can enjoy traditional Japanese festival games such as shooting galleries and ring toss, as well as delicious festival food and beer. In the evening, the traditional umbrellas are illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere that is different from the daytime. 🏮🍻

We will lay out sheets and hold a picnic-style meetup
Free language & free seating, so please feel free to interact with other participants
Please bring your own snacks and drinks
We will also stop by a convenience store so that you can purchase items there

From this point on, you're free to explore on your own. Feel free to continue socializing and enjoying the international exchange.

🌙 Important Notes
- This event is not a guided tour.
- Last order for drinks is 30 minutes before departure.
- If you do not order a drink, an additional 500 JPY will be charged on top of the participation fee.
- Joining the event after departure is not possible.
- Registration is not available after arriving at the café on the day of the event.
- This meetup will conclude at the destination.
- If there are fewer than three participants on the day or in case of severe weather, the event will be canceled. However, you are still welcome to visit the café and enjoy our various meetups.
- If you wish to leave the group early, please inform the organizer.

「うえの夏まつり」は、上野の夏を彩る恒例のお祭りです。屋台グルメやさまざまなイベントを楽しみながら、夏祭りならではの雰囲気を満喫できます。🏮🎆🍧

まずはカフェに集合！

上野公園の不忍池周辺を舞台に開催される、東京の夏の風物詩です。
特に注目なのが、不忍池の蓮見デッキを約4,000個の風鈴が彩る「りんりん回廊」。風鈴の音色と和傘が作り出す幻想的な景色は、日本らしい夏の風情を感じられる人気のフォトスポットです。🎐☂️✨
また、不忍池畔では「上野之縁日」が開催され、射的や輪投げなど昔ながらの縁日遊びや、お祭りグルメ、ビールなどを楽しむことができます。夜には和傘のライトアップも行われ、昼間とは違った幻想的な雰囲気を楽しめます。🏮🍻

- シートを敷いて、ピクニック形式の交流会を行います。
- 言語自由・席替え自由のフリータイムなので、参加者同士で気軽に交流をお楽しみください。
- お菓子やドリンクはご持参ください。
- 途中でコンビニにも立ち寄りますので、その場で購入することも可能です。
