Would you like to experience Japanese calligraphy, one of Japan’s traditional cultural arts? 🇯🇵✨

Japanese calligraphy is a traditional art of writing Japanese characters using a brush and ink.

In this event, you’ll use a real calligraphy brush and learn the basics while having fun! 🖌️

👉 No experience needed!
👉 Solo participants are welcome!
👉 Everyone is welcome, both Japanese and international participants!
👉 Experience Japanese culture and meet people from around the world! 🌎✨

Try Japanese calligraphy using a brush and ink.
Write kanji characters or your favorite words while enjoying the beauty of traditional Japanese writing.

✍️ Traditional Japanese Cultural Experiences
You can also enjoy free cultural experiences such as tea ceremony, making onigiri (rice balls), and creating pressed-flower bookmarks.

✍️ International Meetups
We will also be hosting several international exchange meetups throughout the event. When you're not participating in the cultural activities above, you're welcome to join any of the meetups. It's a great opportunity to meet local Japanese people and people from around the world while discovering diverse cultures and perspectives.

💡 Fees
Participation Fee: *FREE* (Regardless of nationality or gender)
- Entry and exit are free, and you are welcome to attend at any time
- One drink order is required (from 500 JPY)
- Second drink and onwards: discounted price (from 300 JPY)
- Alcohol (from 500 JPY), light meal (from 100 JPY)
- A one-time “Member Passport” issuance fee of 100 JPY applies
- Payment is cash only

💡 Participation
- This meetup group is for members only. To be a member, you have to read and understand the "Rule Book" and agree to its contents.
- Please check the "Information" and "Rule Book" from the links below, and then click the “Attend” button on this page.
- Please note that you will be asked to read the "Rule Book" again when you visit for the first time.

日本の伝統文化「書道」を気軽に体験できるイベントです。筆と墨を使い、漢字や好きな言葉を書きながら、日本の美しい文字文化を楽しみます。

✍️ 日本伝統文化体験
ほかにも、茶道やおにぎり作り、押し花しおり作りなど、日本の文化を楽しめる体験を無料でお楽しみいただけます。

✍️ 国際交流会
当日は他の国際交流会も同時開催。上記の体験以外の時間は、各交流会にご参加いただけます。日本人や世界中の参加者と交流しながら、さまざまな文化や価値観に触れることができます。
