Join us for a visit to the Annual Fall Rites at Yasukuni Jinja!

Held every autumn, the Annual Fall Rites are one of the shrine’s important traditional ceremonies. Traditional Shinto rituals are performed in a solemn and dignified atmosphere. 🍂⛩

Unlike an ordinary visit to a shrine, the grounds take on a special atmosphere during this occasion. It’s a unique opportunity to experience traditional Japanese rituals and shrine culture.

🚶‍♂🚶‍♀ We’ll walk through Kitanomaru Park and along Chidorigafuchi before visiting Yasukuni Jinja.

We’ll explore the shrine grounds and see some of its highlights, including the large torii gate, main sanctuary, and shrine gates. Enjoy the historic architecture and atmosphere while experiencing Japanese traditional culture. 🍂⛩

During the Annual Fall Rites, traditional ceremonies performed by Shinto priests take place in a solemn atmosphere. This is a special occasion to see traditional Japanese rituals in person, offering an experience that is different from an ordinary shrine visit.

There may also be cultural events and exhibitions held in connection with the occasion.

- Please look for the organizer holding a Canadian flag.
- At that time, please pay the 500 JPY participation fee in cash.
- Please bring either a 500 JPY coin or a 1,000 JPY bill for payment.
- Please note that if you are late and miss the group at the meeting point, we will not be able to meet up with you or contact you after the group has departed.

Located in the Kudanshita area of Tokyo, Yasukuni Shrine is a historic shrine founded in 1869. Despite being in the heart of the city, it features spacious grounds surrounded by lush greenery and attracts many worshippers and visitors throughout the year.

🍂⛩ Annual Fall Rites at Yasukuni Jinja
We’ll visit the Annual Fall Rites, one of the most important annual ceremonies held at Yasukuni Jinja. The rites take place every October and are part of the shrine’s major spring and fall annual ceremonies.
During the event, various traditional Shinto rituals and ceremonies are held in a solemn atmosphere. There are also related events, including a tea offering ceremony, an archery ceremony, ritual performances, and exhibitions of flower offerings and chrysanthemums.
Experience a formal and traditional Japanese ceremony while visiting Yasukuni Jinja. 🍂⛩

As the festival is expected to be very crowded, it may be difficult for the whole group to stay together. If you prefer to explore freely, you are welcome to move around on your own.

- This is not a guided tour.
- Please arrive by the Departure Time. You cannot join the event after departure.
- The last order for drinks is 30 minutes before the departure time.
- If you do not order a drink, an additional ¥500 will be charged on top of the participation fee.
- Same-day registration at the cafe is not available.
- The event will be canceled if fewer than three people are attending or in case of severe weather. In such cases, you are welcome to join one of our various events at the cafe instead.
- If you leave the event early, please let the organizer know.

靖囜神瀟で行われる「秋季䟋倧祭」を蚪れたす

毎幎秋に行われる靖囜神瀟の重芁な祭事の䞀぀で、厳かな雰囲気の䞭、䌝統的な祭儀が執り行われたす。🍂⛩

普段の神瀟参拝ずは異なり、圓日は境内が特別な雰囲気に包たれたす。日本の䌝統的な祭儀や神瀟文化を身近に感じられる、普段ずは少し違った神瀟䜓隓を楜しみたしょう。

北の䞞公園や千鳥ヶ淵を通り、靖囜神瀟を蚪れお境内を散策したす。

靖囜神瀟には、倧鳥居や拝殿、神門など、さたざたな芋どころがありたす。歎史ある建物や境内の雰囲気を楜しみながら、日本の䌝統文化に觊れおみたしょう。🍂⛩

秋季䟋倧祭では、神職による䌝統的な祭儀が厳かな雰囲気の䞭で行われたす。普段の参拝ずは異なる特別な日に、日本の䌝統的な祭事を実際に芋孊できたす。

たた、䟋倧祭に関連した文化行事や展瀺などが行われるこずもありたす。

東京・九段䞋にある歎史ある神瀟で、明治時代に創建されたした。広倧な境内ず荘厳な雰囲気が特城で、春の桜や倏のみたたた぀りなど、四季折々の矎しい景色を楜しめる東京を代衚する神瀟のひず぀です。

靖囜神瀟で毎幎秋に行われる、重芁な祭事の䞀぀「秋季䟋倧祭」を蚪れたす。
春ず秋に行われる䟋倧祭は、靖囜神瀟の祭事の䞭でも特に重芁な行事ずされおいたす。
圓日は、厳かな雰囲気の䞭で神瀟の䌝統的な祭儀が執り行われたす。秋季䟋倧祭では、神職による祭儀のほか、献華展や菊花展、匓術など、さたざたな関連行事も行われたす。
普段の神瀟参拝ずは少し違う、栌匏ある日本の䌝統行事を実際に蚪れ、その雰囲気を䜓隓しおみたしょう。🍂⛩
