✍️ Japanese Calligraphy Experience

Would you like to experience Japanese calligraphy, one of Japan’s traditional cultural arts? 🇯🇵✨

Japanese calligraphy is a traditional art of writing Japanese characters using a brush and ink.

In this event, you’ll use a real calligraphy brush and learn the basics while having fun! 🖌️

👉 No experience needed!
👉 Solo participants are welcome!
👉 Everyone is welcome, both Japanese and international participants!
👉 Experience Japanese culture and meet people from around the world! 🌎✨

Come enjoy Japanese calligraphy, make new friends, and have a fun cultural experience together! 😊

✍️ Japanese Calligraphy (7:00 PM)
Try Japanese calligraphy using a brush and ink.
Write kanji characters or your favorite words while enjoying the beauty of traditional Japanese writing.

✍️ Traditional Japanese Cultural Experiences
You can also enjoy free cultural experiences, including a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, making onigiri (rice balls), and origami. 🍵🍙🎨

✍️ International Meetups
On the day of the event, you will first join either the simultaneous English-Only Meetup or the meetup where both Japanese and English are spoken.
When each of the activity booths listed above is ready to begin, we will announce it. However, each booth has limited capacity, so please move to the booth only when your name or group is called in the announcement.
Enjoy interacting with Japanese people and participants from around the world while experiencing various aspects of Japanese culture and discovering different cultures and perspectives.

💡 Fees
Participation Fee: *FREE* (Regardless of nationality or gender)
- Entry and exit are free, and you are welcome to attend at any time
- One drink order is required (from 500 JPY)
- Second drink and onwards: discounted price (from 300 JPY)
- Alcohol (from 500 JPY), light meal (from 100 JPY)
- A one-time “Member Passport” issuance fee of 100 JPY applies
- Payment is cash only

💡 Participation
- This meetup group is for members only. To be a member, you have to read and understand the "Rule Book" and agree to its contents.
- Please check the "Information" and "Rule Book" from the links below, and then click the “Attend” button on this page.
- Please note that you will be asked to read the "Rule Book" again when you visit for the first time.

日本の伝統文化「書道」を気軽に体験できるイベントです。筆と墨を使い、漢字や好きな言葉を書きながら、日本の美しい文字文化を楽しみます。

✍️ 日本伝統文化体験
ほかにも、茶道やおにぎり作り、折り紙など、日本の文化を楽しめる体験を無料でお楽しみいただけます。

✍️ 国際交流会
当日は、まず同時開催の英語オンリー交流会、または日本語と英語の両方を使う交流会にご参加いただきます。
上記の体験ブースが始まる際には、アナウンスでご案内します。ただし、各ブースには定員がございますので、アナウンスで呼ばれた方のみ、各ブースへご移動ください。
日本人や世界各国からの参加者との交流を楽しみながら、さまざまな日本文化を体験し、異なる文化や価値観に触れることができます。

- 入退場は自由で、いつでもご参加いただけます
- ワンドリンク制（500円〜）
- ドリンク2杯目以降は割引価格（300円〜）
- お酒（500円〜）、軽食（100円〜）
- 初回のみ、会員証発行手数料として100円を頂戴いたします
- お支払いは現金のみとなります

- 当交流会は会員制です。会員になるには、『Rule Book』をお読みいただき、内容をご理解のうえ、ご同意いただく必要があります。
