The AI Scale-Up Stories - GreenTech x AI

Details

šŸ‘„ Join us on Tuesday, February 27th at our Enjins office at the Merantix AI Campus for the next edition of our AI Scale-up stories. This time we deep dive into how AI can play a role in the GreenTech industry, with exciting talks from Planblue, Y42, Planet A and Enjins. Stick around after the talks, for some more networking and pizza! It’s a great chance to share thoughts, build partnerships, and grow your professional network.

šŸŽ¤ Our Speakers

1. Navigating the GreenTech frontier: AI's role and success stories, Jessica Burley from Planet A

Planet A is an investment fund partnering with European green tech start-ups that have a significant positive impact on our planet while building scalable businesses globally. Its mission is to contribute to an economy within the planetary boundaries. They typically invest from Pre-Seed to Series A in startups that have quantifiable impact on our environment.

2. Helping GreenTechs organize and collaborate on their data, Steffen Schmitz from Y42

Y42 helps scale-ups in greentech and other industries to scale-up their data usage. In this talk, Steffen will share typical challenges when it comes to scaling up your data platform and how to manage these.

3. AI-driven seafloor mapping for the blue carbon market, Guy Rigot from PlanBlue and Sebastian Prehn from Enjins

PlanBlue employs underwater hyperspectral imaging and AI for efficient, detailed seafloor mapping at scale. By ground-truthing aerial and satellite imagery they help unlock nature-based solutions to reveal the true ecological and economic value of the seafloor and contribute to the emerging blue carbon market. In this talk, Guy and Sebastian will share how to scale AI solutions within the setting of Planblue.
