Meet and park in Wheal Leisure car park in Perranporth TR6 0EY. Car parking is free from 1st November. Join us for a circular walk past the remains of Alfred Nobel's dynamite works to the red-and-yellow ore-rich cliffs above the wreck of the treasure ship Hanover, returning via the spitfire base, along Perran Coombe where a 2-mile leat once carried water to power a massive waterwheel in a chamber within the cliffs.

Footwear: walking boots
We will stop for refreshments on return to Perranporth.

Please note new meeting time. Join us for a walk from Lost Gardens of Heligan (PL26 6EN) down to the pretty fishing village of Mevagissey and back. Park in the large field car park by Lobbs Farm Shop (free from 1st Nov) and meet outside the front of the shop. The walk is about 4.5 miles with some steep hills but is mostly made up of paths. We will stop in Mevagissey for refreshments.
Please note you do not need to pay for entry to the gardens as we are not entering that part of the venue.
