First Day Hike! At the UT Arboretum

Start the new year off by stepping outside to enjoy some fresh air and fun people! Ranger-led ‘First Day Hikes’ are a park tradition across the country.

The event is free, and it is open to the general public so it won’t just be us :). Attendees will gather at 9 am at the UT Arboretum Auditorium for coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks to enjoy around the 🔥 fireplace. At 9:30 am the hiking commences! Hikers may join different hike leaders for an easy or a more strenuous hike. Hikes will be around 60min. We can walk together or split up to different hikes.

Maybe after, if Calamity Coffee is open, we can go grab a post-hike warm-up beverage ☕️!

Wear good shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a bottle of water. (No pets allowed at the Arboretum.)
