Friday-Sunday: Meditations on the Fivefold Path of Mahamudra

Details
The Fivefold Path of Mahamudra encompasses an entire practice pathway to Buddhahood passed down from Phagmo Drupa to Jigton Sumgon, founder of the Drikung Kagyu lineage. The Fivefold Path is: Bodhicitta, Deity Yoga, Guru Yoga, Mahamudra, and Dedication. This complete path has been called the essence of all sutras and tantras, and the foundation of the ocean of all teachings that can practiced by one person. Khenchen Konchog Gyaltsen has called it "the highway of the buddhas of the three times.
Drupon Rinchen Dorje's teachings will focus on meditation on the Fivefold Path using Shakya Bhikshu Shila Ratna's text, The Practice of the Fivefold Path, The Essence of Tantra, as a guide. Along with meditation instruction on each of the five practices, Drupon will offer specific techniques for taking afflictive emotions, sickness, obstacles, and death onto the path of enlightenment.
