Speaker: Tariq Al-Omari, Performance Architect, PhD

Tariq has more than 16 years hands-on experience, consistently achieving performance service level agreements minimizing operational cost. Currently, Tariq is a Senior Performance Architect at Finastra, a leading Fintech firm, with focus on performance engineering and testing using tools that include Application Performance Monitoring (Appdynamics). Tariq earned his PhD in Software Performance Engineering from Carleton University in 2007. He has long track record delivering industry grade solutions to major firms around the globe including Intel, IBM, Morgan Stanley, and BlackBerry. He has publications in prestigious international conference and journals.
