Details
Eric Pugh, author of one of the first books (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Apache-Solr-Enterprise-Search-Server/dp/1782161368/) on Apache Solr and founder of Flax's US partner Open Source Connections, is visiting the UK for a few days.
It's been many months since the last Enterprise Search Cambridge Meetup, but this sounded like a great opportunity for an informal search-themed pub-meet!
Venue, time and other details T.B.C. but do sign up if you'd like to come and I'll see what I can organise.
Eric has also been working with Apache Zeppelin (http://opensourceconnections.com/blog/2016/01/19/richmond-data-hackers/) and can also talk about Quepid (http://www.quepid.com), a very cool tool for test-driven relevancy tuning.
We'll be in the pub from 7pm or maybe a little earlier, as we'll be eating there, probably until 9pm. For those of you coming from out of town, the pub is a short walk from the train station and there is a car park at the end of Gwydir St.
