EUXCBR - May Meetup

Excited to share our next EUXCBR meetup in 2026 will be on the 14th of May. We are luck to have Tori Sanderson, Managing Director at Avian giving a talk on "Accessibility walked so AI could crawl."

Two business cases land on the same exec's desk. One asks to fix a digital product - rewrite the headings, sort the alt text, run a plain language pass. Denied. The other asks for an "AI Readiness Initiative." Same scope. Different cover page. Approved.

This is the AI strategy design teams already wrote. They just didn’t have the budget to implement it.

AI agents read your products the same way screen readers do: through structure, not pixels. The work inclusive designers have been arguing for since the early 2000s is now what every AI initiative needs to function.
Which means the people best placed to lead the AI conversation are already in your design team.
