Sustainability in action - The duties of designers in the sustainable era
As of January 1 this year, mandatory sustainability reporting has arrived in Australia. But what does that mean for those designing inside large enterprise? And what are the opportunities (and obligations) to make a positive impact in our day-to-day work?
Join us next Wednesday the 26th of February to hear a panel of sustainability experts explore the what, where and how of sustainable design.
Panel includes:
- Leyla Acaroglu - Sustainability & circular economy provocateur and founder of Unschool of disruptive design
- Louise Krstic - Senior Policy Officer at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action
- Sarah Hyloh - Circular strategist & founder of sustainability consulting firm Hyloh
The event will be hosted by Rich Brophy, Head of Design at blueegg.
Event will start at 5:30pm with Pizza, Drinks and networking with the panel starting at 6pm. We are going to be in the Manchester Room on Level 1 at The Melbourne Theosophical Society, see you on the 26th!
This event is sponsored by Experience Design "UX" Agency blueegg (http://www.blueegg.com.au/)
