It's right under your feet, you probably ride it every day, but how much do you know about this city's amazing subway system.
Our private tour guide will give us the secret history and inside story of the creation of the original 1904 subway line and how it grew into the most extensive transportation system in the world.
All the art, all the history, all the technical breakthroughs, all the "whys" and all the shenanigans that went into this spectacular achievement. A unique experience for seasoned locals or new members to our fair city.
Get a look at the subway that few people, even lifelong New Yorkers, fail to recognize. This tour explores the areas of the system that are open to the public but in most cases overlooked. You'll end at Grand Central Shuttle Station.
We will enter the system at Brooklyn Bridge/Chambers Street Station. We will board a downtown local train so as to view the old City Hall Station from the train. We will be stopping at Astor Place and Grand Central station. We will switch to the Times Square- Grand Central Shuttle and then go over to Times Square. After that we will go back over to the Grand Central Shuttle Station. This is also the final stop on this tour.
NOTE: We do not go into the tunnels or any area that is not open to the public. This includes the long-closed City Hall Station, which we will view from the safety of a train.
All ages are welcome. Rain or shine event.

Little Island Social Walk (50 & Over)

**Our events are co-organized by multiple groups so don't pay attention to the RSVPs. Our events are consistently well attended. Members just get tickets and don't RSVP.
Our 50 & Over Social Walks are an extremely popular way to make new friends and meet others in a safe and unique setting. This event is very casual and non-awkward + our host will help to make introductions.
Enjoy a fun way to meet others while also getting some fresh air and some exercise while seeing the park. Little Island provides a one-of-a-kind relationship between nature and art—a break from urban life and a connection to spontaneity and joy. It's become NYC's newest and hottest attraction!
We'll make several stops along the park so that people can take pictures and admire the beautiful views. We'll circle the island a couple of times and then afterwards, we'll continue the walk along the Hudson River.
During the walk, you will randomly be paired with others in the beginning then rotate at designated times so that you get to meet everyone participating. Afterwards, you're welcome to hang out and exchange contact info with others.

Join fun and friendly tri-state professionals for a stroll/tour through the famous Dyker Heights Lights! These over the top Christmas displays have definitely earned its stripes as one of the best New York/Brooklyn attractions!
The stunning lights and endless decorations have become increasingly bigger and better every year! Dyker Heights’ impressive light display has been a tradition for more than 30 years and spans three avenues and several streets.
This tour/walk is an extremely fun and popular way to meet others in a safe, outdoor setting. Our host will help to make introductions. He will randomly pair you with others in the beginning then rotate at designated times so that you get to meet everyone participating while being socially distanced. Feel free to exchange contact info with others after walk.
We will meet at a place where you can get a hot chocolate or coffee to warm and we'll introduce you to others in the group. And then end the walk there and have a post mingle for those that want to hang out more.

Grand Central Murder Mystery & Scavenger Hunt (+ After Party)

Join us for a fun, social adventure at our Grand Central Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt. You don’t need any special skills for this activity. Get ready to have a good time making new friends and solving a mystery. Plus, you'll find out things about Grand Central you never knew before!
How It Works:
- When you arrive we will put you on teams - if you don’t already have one (90% of those attending will not have a team).
- Each team will be given a list of clues and 75 minutes to head to Grand Central to try and uncover the mystery of Mary’s demise. The team with the most points wins.
- Once everyone is back we'll safely socialize where you can share your experiences with the others.
The Theme:
Meet Up Mary is a regular on the social circuit in New York. You'd probably know her if you've been out before. She was very personable, friendly and bubbly! Unfortunately Mary met a horrific end at Grand Central and the police need you help to solve her case! Join us for this fun and educational night where you will get to explore every corner of the NYC Landmark in ways that you never have before! (If you have participated in our other Grand Central Hunts no worries as this is a completely different experience)
