A. How to Succeed?
1. Are you a Self Starter? Can you plan what you need to do, then get started.
2. Can you Lead others? Do you take charge and tell them what needs to be done? Are you inspiring?
3. Are you Decisive? If you get enough facts, can you make a decision or do you procrastinate?
4. Can you Persist? Can you get thru the tough times, until your business grows strong?
5. Do you have a Passion for your Product? and want everyone to how great it is?
6. Do you take Responsibility? for the (+/-) results of your company. Can you make changes when things aren’t going so good? Can you handle being busy when they do?
7. Are you willing to work long, hard hours? until your business starts to pay off?
8. Do you keep your Word? and deliver on your promises?
9. How Balanced is your life? Do you make time for your family? play? Are you keeping healthy?
10. Do you have the Talent, Experience? to do your business?
11. Do you do the Research? to find out who are your Customers, Competitors?
12. Are you good at managing Time & Money? Do you determine the priorities of doing the most important things? that will get you the best results?
13. Do you keep Learning? about your field? How to manage your business better?
14. Do you get out and socialize with people? so you don’t isolate yourself?
15. Do you talk to your Prospects? so that you know what are there needs? what they want?
16. When your Customer has a problem, are your “responsive” to resolve it immediately?

B. Why new Business fail?
1. Not enough $$: to develop your product, bring it to market and survive, until it starts making money. Keep your day job to have money to live on, till the business starts producing.
2. Not talking to enough Customers to find out what they really want. Can they use your product? Are they willing to pay for it?
3. No or little Planning. What do you want to do? How will you get there? What is your long term Vision?
4. Differentiation. Your product is not sufficiently better than your competition.
5. Weak Marketing of how to get new Customers
6. Failure to “track” how you’re doing? Who’s buying? Why? How are you managing expenses?
7. Not making the Tough Decisions. Firing the “dead-wood”; tailoring your Product to what most Customers want.
8. Trying to do it all yourself. Not sticking to your core talent and hiring or out-sourcing your weak areas
