Larry Evans is the founder of Virtual Board of Advisors, an organization that assists early stage companies to achieve success beyond what they envision. As an angel Investor, Larry was a charter member of NY Angels and, since 1998, has made investments in several dozen early stage companies. He was also Program Manager for LORE (Loosely Organized Retired Executives) in Philadelphia in 1991 where he was responsible for the introduction of three companies every month into the organization; many of which were subsequently funded. He currently is a member of Delaware Crossing Investment Group (DCIG) and serves on the board of three of the companies in which he invested. Larry is also an advisor to Einstein’s Alley in Princeton NJ. His role as one of the founders of Right Management (NYSE:RHT; sold to Manpower (NYSE:MAN) in 2003) earned him the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, New England Award in 1991. He holds an MBA from Stanford University, a BA in Physics from the University of Utah (NROTC Scholarship) and held the position of Nuclear Submarine Naval Officer
Steve Albert, as the Managing Director of Capital Partners Consulting, has recently been on retainer, providing investment research services to a High Net Worth money manager in Princeton, NJ. He is currently also heading the screening committee for the Delaware Crossing Investor Group (DCIG), a local Angel investment group. Previously, Steve spent over 40 years on Wall Street, analyzing a variety of businesses and industries with capital structures ranging from straight equity to highly leveraged junk bond credits. He spent over 20 years at Kidder, Peabody & Co., where he was named eight times to the Institutional Investor All America Research Team. He then became Director of High Yield Bond Research and ultimately established and headed a group doing equity research on highly levered companies. After Kidder was sold to PaineWebber, Steve went to the Buy-Side and worked for several High Net Worth and Institutional Investment Managers. He is a Mechanical Engineering grad of Union College, where he was elected to the Sigma Xi honorary engineering fraternity. Steve received an MBA from the Harvard Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
