Get into the Holiday Spirit in Victoria Park and volunteer for the Holiday Home tours. The tickets for this event are $25.00, but as a volunteer you get to enjoy it for free.

This year's Victoria Park Holiday Home Tour is just a few
weeks away, and volunteers are still needed. This year's event will be held on Saturday, December 1st and Sunday December 2nd. Volunteers are needed for either day, or both days, between the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. (approximately!).

The typical "jobs" are home guides, who are inside the homes, trolley monitors who are outside the homes greeting the trolleys as they pull up, and direct people waiting to board the trolleys, midway - to help serve beverages, cookies, whatever goodies we may have at the midway point, and we need help setting up and breaking down the party Sunday evening at midway. We also assign trolley conductors, who are on board the trolleys with microphones talking to the visitors as they're heading to the next home! So you see, there are lots of different things to do.

If you have volunteered in the past, you know how much effort goes into making the Home Tour a successful fundraiser for our neighborhood. We hope you will join us again, and invite friends to volunteer along with you. Homeowners who have opened their homes to us in previous years also make great volunteers, so please think about joining us as well. If you have never volunteered in the past, don't be shy, we welcome you with open arms. This is a great way to get to know your neighbors, and have fun doing it.

All volunteers are asked to wear their Victoria Park Civic Association polo shirts (if you don't have one, we will give you one, just let us know what size!), and all volunteers are invited to our big after-party on Sunday night at the midway point.
