SUMMER 2026 UPDATE:

Dear Environment + Spirituality Community,

We hope your summer has been well! Over the past few months, we've taken a break to regroup and consider how we want to continue this group moving forward.

For over ten years, we have been coming together weekly to ground, orient, and strengthen one another through spiritual practices rooted in the Earth. This group began as an in-person meeting at Mendota Heights UCC in Minnesota, and in 2020 shifted to an open online group. Across the years, we have meditated together, shared our writings and dreams, read many a poem, and created meaningful rituals. In the face of climate and environmental challenges, we have chosen connection over isolation, again and again.

And now, it is time for us to transition to something different. As our leadership team moves on to different roles and focuses in our lives, we have decided to sunset Environment + Spirituality in its current form. We are truly grateful to everyone who has shown up to this group and shared your presence and perspective with us.

Together, we explore spiritual practices rooted in nature and Earth wisdom, nourishing both our inner lives and our relationships with the living world around us. Through creative and contemplative practices, we deepen our sense of belonging to the Earth and to each other.

In the face of climate and environmental challenges, we come together to ground, orient, and strengthen one another. Drawing on ecospiritual traditions, we seek to uncover and share the unique gifts each of us carries—gifts that become even more powerful when joined in community.
