For Inca Trail:
• Large backpack (60-70L), daypack (25-35L)
• Sleeping bag (-5/-10°C), sleeping pad
• Waterproof trekking boots, trekking pants, thermal layers (technical t-shirts, fleece, softshell, thin down jacket)
• Rain jacket/poncho (covers backpack too)
• Trekking socks (4-5 pairs), hat, gloves, buff, cap
• SPF 50 sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses
• Trekking poles, headlamp, batteries
• 2-3L water container, purification tablets
• Personal medical kit, insect spray, wet wipes, toilet paper
For cities & cultural visits:
• Comfortable walking shoes, light day clothes
• Sweatshirt for cool evenings, light jacket, sun hat
