What we’re about
Good Day.
If you are new to cycling or just getting back to your childhood love this is the club for you. We exist to train and prepare people new to cycling to get on the road and onto their cycling goals. We are a never drop ride. We will never let you linger by yourself. We ride as a group together and we grow together. We help each other achieve our cycling goals. If you want to race later and join one of the racing clubs we can help you with that as well.
The DMV has a slew of various trails and roads that are very accommodating to new cyclist. When navigated safety and cautiously we can all ride alive and safely, that is our goal.
We typically start on the trails to work on cycling mechanics and then over time transition to the road. We will show you how to ride the roads in a healthy way to avoid getting injured or hurt., though we can prevent all accidents from occurring.
We ride very often so if you miss a ride no worries we have more rides during the week.
FUN- we ride for fun and enjoying the outdoors. We live in a beautiful area and we seek to take full advantage of it.
We accept all people regardless of gender, race, or identification. We explicitly do not discriminate from all people. We are one cycling community together.

See all- The Natasha Ride 2025 15th AnniversaryCity of Praise Family Ministries, Landover, MD
Please come out and join many cyclists from the DMV area to support this memorial ride in honor of Natasha Pettigrew and cycling advocacy for safety! I am strongly encouraging everyone from our area cycling groups to make an attempt to support this event!
6:45 AM Meet Up - Bicycle Checks and Rider Prep
7:30 AM Ride Begins
Natasha Pettigrew was a hit and killed on September 19th, 2010 while riding her bicycle as she trained for a Half Ironman. The driver hit her, and continued on home with Natasha’s bicycle lodged under her SUV (surprisingly the driver was sentenced to one year and $1,500).
This ride calls attention to the need for a keen sense of awareness for everyone to share the resources of the road. The ride helps to remember the lost of a beautiful lady gone too soon!!!
