6th Annual Hike to Lost Lake followed by lunch at Kathmandu in Nederland!

Hey guys,
It's time for our annual hike up to Lost Lake and the Old Mining Cabin in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area! If you haven't been this is a trip you don't want to miss.
Starting at the Hesse trailhead which is about 9000 feet we will hike up to close to 10,000 feet meandering through rocky outcroppings and rugged forests of ponderosa pine. The hike is just over 4 miles round trip with an elevation gain of just under 900 feet. We’ll hike up to the lake and break before heading another ½ mile to an old mining cabin that sits near the top of the ridge overlooking the entire area. Bring your cameras because there are some amazing views! Please expect to go at a moderate pace along the 4 mile round trip hike. We’ll stop for lunch at the world famous Kathmandu Nepalese restaurant after the hike. They should be back in their original building so i'm excited to check that out again.
