Details
Let's escape the heat! On the boundary of RMNP and Indian Peaks Wilderness, St. Vrain Mountain offers awesome views of Wild Basin and Longs Peak to the north and the high mountains of Indian Peaks to the south. This challenging hike is a great June tune-up for the high peaks of July and August. At 12,162 feet, it should be mostly snow-free. The final 1.2 miles from saddle to summit is above treeline with spectacular views.
