Emmaline and Cirque Lakes

This is a great hike that starts at CSU's Pingree Park campus. At about mile 3.75 we arrive at the expansive mountain views of Cirque Meadows, and then it's on to the beautiful setting of Cirque Lake and Emmaline Lake in the shadow of Comanche Peak.

MEETING LOCATIONS:
If you'd like to carpool, we’ll leave from Overland Foods in Laporte at 6:30 AM and head up the Poudre Canyon, planning to be at the trailhead at approximately 8:00 AM.

• Hike Distance: 11.5 miles roundtrip per the US Forest Service
• Elevation Gain: Approximately 2100 feet over 5.25 miles
• Difficulty: moderate
• Hike Duration: should be less than 6 hours with some time at the lakes
