Gravel Ride - Michaud to Douglas Res.

See https://www.bikesportsco.com/routes for more deets. This is the short "Michaud to Douglas Res" route. 31 miles, 950 feet, 40% paved. Thanks to Zack Allison for his efforts to map these routes!

Start at New Belgium Brewery (west side on Linden). Free parking across the street. Be ready to roll out at 0800 sharp! Plan on about 2-2.5 hours for a tour north of town. This will be an intermediate no-drop ride at a moderate pace (12-15 mph). We'll regroup a couple of times to make sure nobody gets left behind. That said, it is 31 miles. Please do an honest self-assessment and make sure you're up to this.

A gravel bike would be ideal. A hybrid (with at least a 35mm tire) or a mountain bike will work. This is NOT a ride for a road bike with skinny tires!

Don't count on any services (food, water, tools, etc) on the ride. You'll need to be self-sufficient in that respect.
