Lesson's From Africa - Making Wildlife Conservation Pay For Itself

Ed Warner’s Lessons from Africa: Making wildlife conservation pay for itself
Join us for a fascinating and unconventional look at conservation, on Thursday, August 28 at 6 pm, as one local expert shares insights from his time in Africa. Instead of dictating solutions, he sought to understand how African communities achieve remarkable conservation success with limited resources. This evening, you'll discover market-based approaches where both wildlife and landowners benefit, leading to better habitat and increased prosperity. It's a fresh perspective on "Capitalist Conservation" that promises to be both thought-provoking and inspiring, illustrating how successful strategies can be exported back home.

Tickets are $10. As of today, 8/20, there were a couple of dozen left. No idea if it'll sell out, but if you're interested better get a ticket soon. This event will be at the Global Village Museum at 200 W Mountain in Fort Collins. Doors at 530. I think it's General Admission. I'll be there around 530, in a maroon t-shirt, to get a good seat. Introduce yourself if you want to sit together.
