September - Harvest Moon

Technically, the Harvest Moon is the Full Moon closest to the September equinox around September 22. The Harvest Moon is the only Full Moon name determined by the equinox rather than a month. Most years, it’s in September, but around every three years, it falls in October.

The hike will be about 3.5 miles and 650 ft gain.

After the hike we'll do the fondue in the picnic area on the east side of the parking lot.

Bring something yummy to dip in the chocolate fondue that I'll make - fresh & dried fruits, nuts, candied ginger, pound cake, be creative!

Since there is food involved, no dogs on this event.

Anyone who wants to carpool, meet at JJ's at 4
