GRPC Test Automation | What is GRPC and how do we test it?

We are excited to invite you to our new Meetup in collaboration with Tabara de Testare, with focus on GRPC Test Automation.

On Thursday, 13th Oct, from 18:30 - 21:00, our colleagues, Andrei Dobra, Head of Automated Testing with Java Practice in EPAM Romania, and Paul Morariu, Software Test Automation Engineer, will give some insights on what is GRPC and how we test it. During the meetup they will hold a thorough demo showcasing GRPC microservices in action and how you can build a test automation framework.

1. Insights and Beyond, Andrei Dobra
Learn about EPAM Romania and our QA unit. From our array of projects and engagements, to our way of working and what we do to constantly improve and learn new things.

Andrei Dobra is Head of Automated Testing with Java Practice for EPAM Romania. He is a curious tester at heart and always eager to improve quality through any way possible.

2. GRPC Test Automation | What is GRPC and how do we test it? Paul Morariu
We will talk about how GRPC and its predecessor, the old RPC standards, first started and how they are used nowadays.
We will also compare it with the more popular REST guidelines for API design.

Of course, we will also have a thorough demo showcasing GRPC microservices in action and how you can build a test automation framework that will ensure the proper validation of their functionality.
