Need a couple of experienced scramblers and trailbreakers, and 1-2 strong beginners are ok too, but you have to have the equipment, or ask Val for extras.

NOTE-1: You need to stay together, as a team or not go with us! Turning around only splits the group, usually not a good idea. Trips last sometimes 13+ hours! We don't hurry, have lunch, take care of each other and play it calm and safe.

NOTE-2: Val doesn't have a set turn-around time. If we are close to the summit, and everybody is up for it, we go on, even if we have to come down in the dark with headlamps. And... should it really happen, we are equipped (right? Warm stuff...!) for a bivi as well. IF this bothers you, DO NOT GO on an advanced trip.

NOTE-3: BAG-CHECK: Got to have Alpine Scrambling Equipment: 2x 18ft 5mm prusik cords, 1 locking carabiner, Ice-Axe, SnowShoes, Crampons!, Tracktion Device, Ski-Poles with Snow Plates, Headlamp, Extra Warm Cloth - packed water tight, Full Zipper Rain Pants, Rain Jacket, Gloves, Extra Water-Tight Mittens, Water-Tight Winter Mountaineiring Boots, Gaitors, Dry Socks, Ziplockbags etc.. After a rainstorm, you need to be able to put an dry cloth.

Note 4: We will carry a rope just in case, but do not regularily use it. However, if you feel unsafe, ASK FOR BEING ROPED UP! Regardless, if Val ropes up, you will also have to rope up. If you don't like this, don't go!

NOTE-5: Winter hikes and snowshoes often deal with unforecasted conditions. Have equipment with you do deal with it!
