For years, running groups throughout New York have joined the Harlem Heroes Run in tribute to Black History month. Last year, our Run was covered by the legendary Amsterdam News.
The Run passes Harlem sites that highlight those great heroes, African-Americans and others, who made our world a better place. Given the events of this past year, many will find the run especially meaningful.
Stops will be short and the topics exciting. There will be 9mm and 11+mm pace groups. The full run is 8 miles for 11+mm and 11 miles for 9mm pace groups. (Subway stops on the route for those on shorter runs.)
Runners will gather at Cafe Amrita to warm up before our start, 310 W 110th St. The run ends at Carrot Top Pastries, 165th & Broadway, Best of New York for pastries & breakfast!
