Eikas: Philosophy, Friendship, and Simple Pleasures

Epicureans traditionally gather on the 20th of each month to enjoy philosophy, friendship, and simple pleasures in a relaxed and friendly setting where all are welcome. (In our case, it's a Saturday near the 20th of each month.)

This event will be a POT LUCK meal! I will be sending out a message later (or check back here if you don’t receive it) about a signup system so we can cover each of the elements of a complete meal.

NOTE: The subway is down between Jane and Kipling this weekend, so plan an extra ~10 mins for shuttle buses if you go that route.

An event fee of $5 will go towards venue rental and meetup.com subscription costs. You may pay in cash at the event, or contact the organizer for an email address for e-transfer.

No special knowledge of or commitment to Epicurean philosophy is required. All are welcome with an interest in putting any of the following concepts into practice: pleasure, friendship, simple living, self-sufficiency, free thinking, tranquility, wisdom, the good life.
