Beginners Surf Ski Paddle

Join the Meetup organiser Gerard at a beginners surf ski class conducted by "Learn to Paddle Now". The session is suitable for first timers, beginners and intermediate. Surf ski hire, paddle and a life vest are included in the price, along with tuition from an experienced instructor who will help set up your surf ski and teach you the basics.

The lesson is 60 minutes duration, and you will paddle 5-7 km around Middle Harbour, under the spit bridge, across to Clontarf and to Chinaman beach, depending on your confidence.

The price for this meetup is the cost of the class and must be paid to "Learn to Paddle Now" via their website or the Learn to Paddle App available in the Apple and Google app stores, payment is not to the the Meetup organiser.

If you RSVP to this event, you must:

1. Ensure you have registered with "Learn to Paddle Now" via the Apple or Google app or website
2. Purchase at least one class for $35 (or you can buy a 3 class pack for $50)
3. Book in for the class on Sunday via the "Learn to Paddle Now" website or app, in addition to the RSVP here for this meetup event.

The meetup organiser is not responsible for you making your booking and the payment to Learn to Paddle Now.

This meetup event is purely to advertise the Learn to Paddle Now session, and have more people join.

Parking: is available nearby, at a cost, or there is a bus stop directly opposite.

What to bring: Sun protection (hat, sunnies, rash shirt, sunscreen), clothes you don't mind getting wet (a wetsuit is great if you have one).

A change room and toilet are available if you need to change before the session.

RSVP closes at 7:30pm the day before the paddle.

Weather: Rain or shine, we will paddle. So don't worry if there is drizzle.
