Who are the Epsom Rotary Associates?
Our slogan is rethinking Rotary. As Associate members of the Rotary Club of Epsom we follow the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self” but do so in a way which fits with the busy lifestyle of young professionals (late 20s plus) and families, with flexibility and affordability being key. Epsom Rotary Associates is about community, charity, fun and friendship.
Each year we are involved in a range of community events. These currently include a conservation weekend with the National Trust and volunteering at the Rotary Club of Epsom’s Christmas collections.
We have a varied social calendar with past events including pub quizzes, picnics, pub socials, wine tasting, drinks and dinner in Central London, a games evening and walks.
In April 2017 we organised a charity quiz night and raised £1323.32 for the purchase of dementia blankets and other equipment for wards to help dementia patients. In 2016 we donated £750 to The Sunnybank Trust, an Epsom based charity which provides services to 250 adults and young people with learning disabilities.
