In this talk, Angela and David will dive into practical strategies for working with options in Elementor that allow you to make your site more WCAG compliant, including:
- Assigning proper ARIA landmarks to header, content, and footer areas
- Naming menus and other widgets in Elementor for correct ARIA
- Using Site Settings to define accessible Global Colors and scalable typography
- Adding aria labels to icons, buttons, and images that are linked
Angela and David will provide a few custom code snippets to improve accessibility of the following:
- Respect reduce motion effects with CSS
