There is something that happens when a woman stands quietly beside a horse.

Her breathing changes.
Her guard lowers.
She doesn’t have to perform, explain, or have anything figured out.

This is what it feels like to be Held by the Herd.

Held by the Herd is a small, intentional women's group supported by horses and grounded in a gestalt-based, relational approach.

This is an experiential offering for women who are curious about themselves in relationship—with others, with horses, and with their own inner landscape. Sessions invite present-moment awareness, honest contact, and choice, supported by the sensitivity and truthfulness of the herd.

The group is facilitated from a trauma-informed perspective, with attention to nervous system responses, clear boundaries, and participant choice. There is no pressure to share,, perform, or push beyond personal limits.

There is no riding, no performance, and no expectation to arrive with anything "figured out." The work unfolds through experience, presence, and relationship.
