Challenge.Gov: Elixir at the Federal Government

Hey all, we're slowly ramping events back up and want to get on a more consistent schedule soon. Some offices are opening up to visitors so we may even have some hybrid streamed/in-person events here in the near future! This particular event will be fully online still, stream link to come.

Our next speaker is Dan Ivovich, the Director of Engineering at SmartLogic, a web and mobile software consultancy. With his passion for full stack software development and DevOps, he’s been leading engineering teams since 2012 and working with Elixir since 2016.

The talk will dig in to the history of Challenge.Gov and why SmartLogic used Elixir to re-platform a government system. A tour of the process and how an Elixir code base was integrated with government managed cloud services.
