November's Meetup hosted by Google for Startups Campus and sponsored by Hopla Software:
19:10 Pablo Chico de Guzmán
Visual Studio Code Remote Development (in Spanish)
Developing in containers reduces local setup and provides replicable dev environments, but it implied to say bye-bye to IDE extensions like debuggers, linters or test frameworks. The Visual Studio Code Remote - Containers extension lets you use a Docker container as a full-featured development environment. It allows you to open any folder inside (or mounted into) a container and take advantage of Visual Studio Code's full feature set.
Pablo is CTO @Okteto, helping companies to adopt Kubernetes and accelerate their development workflows. Previously, he worked @Docker in the Docker Cloud project (formerly Tutum).
If you want to know more about Kubernetes Basics and how to develop in Kubernetes, we made this course for you http://bit.ly/2omgvwI.
19:40 Alba Álvarez and Javier Ramírez
Building CNAB Applications with Docker (in Spanish)
In this talk we are going to review the new standard CNAB and how docker implemented their docker application bundle commands to easily deploy applications on different clusters or even different orchestrations using the same command-line. We will demo these tools on AKS, Docker Enterprise and laptop, deploying a simple application on Kubernetes (AKS and On-Premise cluster) and Swarm without any changes.
Alba Álvarez and Javier Ramírez are Architects @Hoplasoftware. Javier Ramírez is also a Docker Captain. They are part of Hopla's Infrastructure team, focused on modernizing applications and infrastructures using opensource tools.
20:10 Networking and Catering by Hopla Software.
