Las Cátedras Edosoft en Computación en la Nube e Inteligencia Artificial de la Universidad de la Laguna y de la Universidad de las Palmas de Gran Canaria junto con los GDGs de Tenerife y Gran Canaria se complacen en presentarles nuestro primer evento.
Será una tarde con ponencias cortas de profesionales de primer nivel en ámbitos tan variados como la Computación en la Nube, Computación Cuántica, Inteligencia Artificial y Conducción Autónoma. Habrá dos ponencias físicas desde Tenerife y otras dos intercaladas en Gran Canaria, y conectaremos por streaming desde cada una de las sedes a la otra, además habrá un coffee break y algo de tiempo para networking.

Professor and Researcher at University of La Laguna, with wide experience in R&D+i at Computer Science and Programing sector, I have been always working developing, transferring and promoting innovative technologies.
Also I have been founder non fully successful startups and I am co-organizer in the Google Developer Group (GDG) in Tenerife and Google Summer of Code (GSoC) Mentor.
From an educational point of view, I am Ph.D. in Computer Science.
Nonetheless I have been keeping an eye on continuous education, with additional training courses in project management, entrepreneurship or educational topics.
Particularly I am extending my skills on business, management and marketing attending a part time bachelor in Business Administration.
From a career point of view, I have been working in most of the stages of R&D+i, including mobile development, network and information security, distributed computing, user interface design, SEO/ASO marketing, project management (medium size projects), product definition and business development at several R&D proyects both for university and private sector.
I also teach in Computer Science and Engineering in the fields of Mobile development (Android), Information security and cryptography and user interface design.
Finally, I am a science and tech fan and I practice sport, specially european football (soccer).
