Manasi is the creator of ModelDB, the first open-source model management system deployed at Fortune-500 companies. She previously worked on deep learning for content recommendation as part of the feed-ranking team at Twitter and dynamic ad-targeting at Google. Manasi is passionate about building intuitive data tools, helping companies become AI-first, and figuring out how data scientists and the organizations they support can be more effective.

Abstract:
Models are being built and deployed at unprecedented rates. However, the lack of standardization, inability to share and preserve model assets, and absence of governance are making model operationalization slow and risky.

A new component in the ML stack is emerging that can serve as a central hub for enabling standardization, sharing, and governance. Called the Model Catalog, this central hub provides a way to store, organize, and manage model assets; implement responsible AI practices; and integrate with IT tooling to operationalize models.

In this webinar, we will look at the major trends necessitating the adoption of Model Catalogs in enterprises, what capabilities are provided by this emerging category of tools, and what benefits organizations can reap by investing in a model catalog.
