AGENDA

19:05 am - Keynote
Title: Don't let Gen Z break your models (Spanish)
Speaker: Alicia Pérez Iglesias - A "manchega" who lives in Madrid, Data Scientist at StyleSage and Co-organizer at PyLadies Madrid.

Abstract:
In fashion business, gender roles have always been quite clear, such as "skirts are for women" and "ties are for men". These, among other clichés, have conditioned the algorithms for tagging and classifying fashion products, introducing biases that can now work against us in trends predictions and making strategic decisions. At PyConES 2019 I made an introduction to the problem of biases in fashion (and in tech in general) and we talked about some tools and libraries realted with bias and fairness; in this talk, I'll go deep in Explainable AI for image classifiers and I'll show you some experiments and issues found at real use cases.
