📄 DESCRIPTION :

HackSTEM is the event that every year brings together university students from all over the world in a team competition to create a digital solution about the fascinating world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

This initiative is promoted by Siemens Gamesa, together with Spanish Startups. It is driven by the concern about the lack of vocations among young people for STEM careers, and the need for talent to achieve a sustainable future through innovation.

In this 4th edition, students will have to help a renowned educational non-profit organization to advance environmental education, as well as the science behind it, through a gamified solution. Details will be announced at the opening ceremony.

HackSTEM23 will also include STEM Talks, webinars open to the public, and 3 workshops.

Teams will be supported by mentors during the competition to help them improve their proposals.

📌 WHO IS THIS CHALLENGE ADDRESSED TO?

Students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree related to STEM disciplines (engineering, computer science, electronics, mathematics), as well as education, business, or marketing.
